Why you need back-up and recovery for your cloud-native applications?

Today’s IT environment is shifting to cloud native solutions focused on containerized applications in Kubernetes clusters running everywhere – from on-premises data centers, to the cloud and at the edge. Ensuring business continuity in this application-centric world requires new approaches to application hardening and quick operational recovery of cloud native workloads.
Backup and recovery of the entire application is critical – including data, metadata and any other Kubernetes objects associated with the application – in order to have it protected and being able to be restore it from any point in time.
In this technical session we will we have a closer look of few typical situations when backup is highly recommended for cloud-native applications.
