Nordicmind Launches Zimbra Distribution
in Scandinavia and Baltic Countries
Nordicmind Ltd, the authorized distributor of Red Hat, has been appointed by Zimbra as distributor for Scandinavia and Baltic countries. Zimbra, a Yahoo! Company, provides innovative solutions for email and collaboration, which already has over 50 million customers worldwide.
Zimbra Collaboration Suite is a modern, open source based messaging and collaboration application for enterprise, service provider, education, and government environments.

Scalability With Innovative Features
In addition to being an innovative email application with contact management, Zimbra also includes a comprehensive group calendar and tools for file storage and web document management. The solution is compatible with most web browsers, email clients (for example Outlook), email protocols, VoIP and smart phones.
As required for professional email and collaboration solutions, Zimbra comes with 24/7 support services and certified updates. It features integrated spam and virus scanning, directory services as well as optional archiving and discovery functionality.

Zimbra server is available for Linux, Mac OS X and virtualization platforms. The AJAX based web client and Zimbra Desktop, which have identical user interfaces and feature sets, run on any Windows, Apple or Linux desktop computer. Via a standard web browser the web client gives users easy access to all of their data from any location. Zimbra Desktop works online and offline and works with any POP or IMAP email account as well as Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, and other mail services. Solutions are also available as hosting service.
Zimbra Collaboration Suite also includes powerful, web and command line interfaces for administrators, for the management of the solution, including its advanced Class of Service architecture.
